Wild American Ginseng is the rarest of the Panax Quinquefolius L. family and is the most potent based on having the highest level of ginsenosides amongst American ginsengs. It has been designated as a threatened species and is protected by harvesting. This requires diggers and dealers to be licensed when they forage for it in its native woodland habitat, and sell it to consumers. Wild American Ginseng is grown with no human intervention typically 10 years or longer before it is harvested.
Wild American Ginseng is very light in texture and wrinkled. Same as other American ginseng, Wild American Ginseng is known traditionally for energy, stress relief, enhancing the immune system, adjusting bodily systems, and increasing endurance. American ginseng is traditionally known for tonifying the “Chi”, the stamina that it will provide you throughout the day.
